The Artiste in 3-D

Welcome to our The Artiste in 3D Blog Hop! There are so many fun features in our Artiste Cricut cartridge that we decided to showcase many of the 3D Objects

{click photo to get your own cartridge!}

In this hop, you will see a variety of projects featuring the 3D Object key of the Artiste but don’t worry, you won’t need special glasses to see them! (But we do hope our projects will “stand out” to you.)

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy ~ Love 2 Create. If you came from Priscilla’s Blog ~ Priscilla’s Paperie then you are in the right place!

My project today is the Hex box on page 48 of the Artiste.

Isn’t it cute? I didn’t decorate the top, as I think I will do it specific to each recipient (and this one is yet to be decided).

Here, you can see it wide open! I decided to go with 3 sizes of hex box, and twist them just slightly for each size. There are spots for 30 different photos (or some combination of photos and journaling!) That’s a whole scrapbook in just one box!

This shot was a bit of a close up shot, so you can see the inside, and kind of how it works a bit better!

I tried to fold in the inner most box, so you can see that both sides of each flap have cardstock on them, and ready for photos and/or journaling! (it just didn’t want to cooperate very much!!)

I hope that you have enjoyed my little hex box! It’s been great fun in creating (and may be one of my go to gifts for Christmas!)!

I am the last stop in this hop, but if you joined in the middle, you can continue at the beginning, with Lucy ~ Love 2 Create.

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:

Lucy ~ Love 2 Create
Darla ~ Caution: Crafting is Contagious
Stephanie ~ The Quilted Scrapper
Wendy Kessler ~ My Scrapbooking Blog
Laura Wolff- ~ Scrappinsweetie’s Escape
Kindred Hearts ~ It Makes Total Cents

Have a crafty filled weekend! I'll be getting ready for the many bazaars that I have coming up, and the Christmas Card Workshop that I have coming up next weekend! (the photos for those cards coming tomorrow!)

Thanks Robin! I have been waiting for this cart too! I actually had to use a friend’s cart to make it! LOL!! Although, mine has now been ordered, and hopefully will soon be on it’s way!!

Thanks Andi! It does turn out larger than one might think! Each side is 3″ tall, and about 2 3/4″ wide. Lots of surface space!

Thanks Charlotte! The largest is actually cut at 3″, and the other boxes are 1/4″ smaller than the previous. (If you do fit to page for the largest, then your box top won’t fit!)
