Sending Many Prayers

Now, it’s never fun to have to have sympathy cards or get well cards, but, we all need them.  Today I have a simply beautiful card that went together quickly (a theme I seem to have).

The Mix in paper packet worked perfectly for this card!  I added in the February SOTM for the borders and the sentiment from the current Card Subscription.

I added some liquid pearls to the card to give it a few embellishments.

I added a bit to the inside of the card, and this time I did something on both the inner and outer edges of the white daisy piece that I have on the inside of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects made with the Mix In paper pack this week!  It’s been fun playing with them!

I would love it if you left me a little comment below!

Thinking of You Gifts

Sunday’s live video was all about giving some yummy treats to someone, just because. We decorated a mug and added some yummy cookie bars and come coffee packs, just because.

These little gifts were super fast to make. You will spend more time waiting for the cookie bars to bake than anything else! (and even that isn’t too long!)

So, click on over to the FB group and watch the live video (on replay) and make yourself some fun mugs!

Now that you have watched the fun video, let’s make some of these fantastically easy cookies, shall we?

I did NOT come up with this idea by myself, it was a fantastic pinterest find! (actually, we found a bunch of sites that copied the first one, but left some of the info out, so I went searching for the original, and luckily, I found it!)

Look at this beautiful photo . . . . this is all that you will need to make these cookies!

And if you click here, you will find the recipe and instructions, and even a short video of her making them!

I am telling you, these are so easy to make, and they are sooooooooooo good! They puff up much more than you think they will! I don’t think there is a size of pan listed. I would stick close to an 8×8 sized pan!

You will add these to your go to treat list, I promise!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

Let me know if you decide to make the treats (food or mugs) and share a photo! I would love to see!

See you next time!

Paste-fully Creative – CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Technique blog hop! We are featuring the new Texture Paste! You should have come from Haley’s blog, however, if you didn’t, it’s a circle, and you will get back to her!

Today, I have this fun card for you! It was really fun to make, even if it wasn’t what I was originally going to do!

I cut a fun stencil from the Artbooking cartridge. I just used a bit of cardstock for it, but I would surely next time go with the stencil sheets, as you can see a bit where it smooshed under.

I put some saffron and goldrush inks onto the All Purpose mat, then put a little dab of the Transparant Matte paste into each. Mixed them slightly, and then spread onto the card in different spots with the palette knives, and then slightly overlapped them. I peeled off my stencil and allowed the paste to dry.

I stamped and cut the flowers and sentiment from the bunches of love stamp set, using archival black, mink, saffron, and goldrush colors. Popped them on a scrap of vellum, to help them pop off the card a bit more, and viola! You have a fantastic card! Oh, and let’s not forget the bling, shall we? I used a few clear sparkles and bitty sparkles do draw a bit more attention to the flowers!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you liked my card! Let me know what you think! Then, hop on over to Michelle’s blog to see what she has for you!
