Thank you, Friend!

Happy Monday, friends!  This week we are focusing on the Hello Lovely paper packet, as I’m sure you have seen!  This paper packet is in the core book, available for an entire year!  You have a few months left to be able to get it!  The paper packs in the core book have more sheets of paper in them!

This is the card that we will put together in the FB live event, today!  I know you will love it, too!

I used some fantastic Blue Belle glitter paper on here, and it shines so much!  Add a few liquid pearls, and voila!  The card is finished!

If you are seeing this before the FB live, hop over to my FB page and have a quick watch!

I can’t wait to see how this inspires you!

It’s a Lovely week!

The Lovely paper packet is one that is in the Core Catalog, and as such it has two features.  One: It is larger than the paper packets that are in the smaller books and Two: it doesn’t have a scrapbooking or cardmaking workshop.  There are no specific stamps that match it, either.  However, there are a few that would work well with this paper packet!

Let’s check out what you can get with this paper, shall we?

Perfect Match

Welcome back to another weekly paper show!  This week we are working with Perfect Match!  This is a fun paper that has many reds and pinks and blacks.  While it is a valentine paper pack, it isn’t JUST for Valentine’s day!

This paper pack has a couple of bundles available!  There are just a few more items in the 2nd bundle, and the PDF of the projects that CTMH has created will be posted later in the month, and a live FB event will happen, where they will walk you through the cutting and creating of the projects!  I will include their artwork photo at the bottom of the post, so make sure to check that out as well!

So, let’s take a look and see what we have, shall we?

Thanks.

Happy Friday!  Each Friday I am going to have a project for you with the Stamp of the month, and the paper pack of that week!  Fun, right?

I grabbed my trusty Make it from your Heart book and the stamp of the month set, and found a great card.  I think it turned out super cute!

I thought this little cluster was super fun!  Remember, when you are adding your bling, it doesn’t have to be on top, you can partially tuck it under a layer!

I love having products that make it so easy to put together something quick, don’t you?

Do you have Inky Fingers?

I know I do! I have been playing with the papers from the current books, and am just IN LOVE! For today’s hop, you may have started here, or you may have arrived from Wendy’s blog, either is great! The hop is a large circle, so you will end up where you started!

Today’s card was super fun to put together!  I used some leftover papers from the Serenity Cardmaking WYW kit.  I looked in the MIFYH 4 book for a fun easy card to make so that I could add some fun inky background to it!

I used our colored pencils to color in the flowers, no water needed!  a bit of the silver embellishing thread to wrap around, and it’s just adorable!  I used Sapphire ink with a sponge in the background to get the fun color ‘splash’!

This card turned out SUPER cute!  (even if I did have to stray from my original plan because I didn’t have the right distress ink colors!)

I would love to hear your thoughts on this fun card!  Leave a comment below before you hop over to Maz’s blog!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

These are My People Blog Hop

Thanks for joining us on the These are my People blog hop! Today you should have arrived from Becca’s blog. If you started here, don’t worry, it’s a big circle, so you will get back to Becca’s blog!

This fun layout is created with the These are my People papers and sticker sheet! It was super easy to put together, with the use of the free sketch on the Make it from your Heart blog! This page came from Moondoggie, so many years ago, and was re-shared a few years ago for NAM, and we used it this weekend for a zoom Virtual Crop over in the Let’s Flock Together FB group! All of the ladies used this same page, and everyone used a different paper, and the pages all turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!

These stickers made putting the extras on this two page layout a cinch!

Like I said, the page was EASY to put together! I know you could do something similar with this paper pack or any other! I would love to hear what you think about it! Leave me a quick note, and then head over to Valerie’s blog to see what she has for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

It’s time to smile

It’s time for another card from both Danielle and I! Today’s theme is the February SOTM. This stamp set has a bouquet of flowers, some script and some typewriter type sentiments on it. This set is perfect for cards for some ladies in your life! (add an alphabet stamp set, and it would be perfect for ANYONE in your life!)

I found a beautiful card that I wanted to create with this set. The Spruced Up paper pack has a fantastic paper that is a wood grain paper, so I grabbed my lagoon reinker and the medium flat waterbrush along with the All Purpose Mat, and colored the wood grain paper! It turned out great!! Exactly as I wanted it!

I used some of the mink cardstock from the coordinating cardstock pack for the front of the card. I stamped the bouquet with archival black ink three separate times (well, 5, counting the two little bits in the corners). I did some stamp surgery to be able to stamp the “smile” sentiment without the top part. I used a little bit of the wood grain that was the original color as one of the banners. Add a bit of the white and gold ribbon, and this card is finished!

I am in LOVE with how it turned out! I would love to know what you think! After you leave a comment, head over to see what beauty Danielle has for you!

3-D Project Friday | Mini Pizza Box

It’s 3-D Friday! Danielle & I love having all these little projects for you! Today we have a little mini box for you! You can use it for treats or cards or even jewelry!

We used this pin for inspo.

Now, I went a bit differently on the box, so my measurements do not match the ones given in the inspo post, however, I do give my measurements in the video itself.

It was fun to make these little cards to go into the box. I had a specific person in mind for these (and I won’t say just yet, as I know she hasn’t gotten them yet!). I know that she will enjoy giving them to her co-workers on random just because reasons.

I think they turned out absolutely adorable!! And I love having a new use for the Spruced Up Cardmaking workshop stamp set and die!

Check out the video to make this box along with me!

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you haven’t already checked out Danielle’s box, make sure to go and do that now!

Wednesday is Mini Day!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another Mini Wednesday! As you have seen the last few weeks, on Wednesday, Danielle and I are challenging each other (and all of you) to participate in a sketch challenge! Well, today, we went a slightly different route! Danielle chose a mini album page straight off the Artbooking cartridge! Perfect! I love using my cricut!

And then, my computer and design space decided they weren’t going to play nice together! Whaaaaaa?!?!?! Sooo, she suggested that I go with using it more as a sketch, and not use my cricut. So, that’s exactly what I did!

In place of the honeycomb, I used some vellum to tone down the floral paper from the Celebrate Today paper packet, just a smidge. I used pixie cardstock for some ‘Polaroid’ frames. Those acrylic hearts . . . don’t you just love them? I used the bright pink marker to give them a pop of color against the background.

On the left page, I again used some vellum, but ran it horizontal, and the backside of the flower paper is a pink wash, and I used that to help the photos pop against the background. A quick heart from the stitched hearts die, and this page is done!

These pages went together in less than an hour, even with the coloring! It was so awesome! I love it when things are easy and fast! Especially when they turn out this good!

I would love to see what you come up with for this week’s sketch! I do hope you will share with us! If you didn’t yet, hop on over to Danielle’s blog to see what she came up with! It is super cute!

I look forward to seeing what you guys do with this one!

Until next week!

Stay Crafty my friend!
